While Day 1B of the Bar Poker Open Championship was playing out, Event 6 of the series had a nice turnout on a Sunday afternoon. The $220+30 Monster Stack beats its $20,000 Guarantee and put $20,487 up for grabs. The last nine spots will earn some money with a min-cash worth $615 and the winner walks away with $7,171 plus the Bar Poker Open trophy.

Over in the poker room, some players who weren’t successful in the BPO have elected to enter Event 6 to try their luck at a BPO trophy including Kings & Queen’s Brandon Grimm and Rob Watson.

Josh Mordenti who bagged the fourth largest stack from Day 1A is hoping to take home two trophies by playing this on his day off.

If you’ve already bagged up for the Championship, or unfortunately run out of re-entry chances, we have a great chance to make some big money in the tournament area this afternoon. Event 6 on the Bar Poker Open schedule has a $220+$30 buy-in with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool and deep, slow structure.

Players will sit down to 30,000 starting stacks and the tournament will run 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 around 6:30pm with unlimited re-entries available during that time. This is a one-day tournament and will award another Bar Poker Open trophy later this evening along with a big chunk of cash.

Action kicked off at 2pm and we will keep one eye on them throughout the day.
