With the hours getting late, the Bar Poker Open Championship starting in a few hours, and five people still in contention for the Event 2 title, they decided to make an adjusted payout deal to split the remaining prize pool. Sonya Harrison of the Eastern Poker had a healthy chip lead at the time and her $2,393 was the biggest prize of the deal.
She also took home a Bar Poker Open trophy and will try to get some sleep before getting back to action in the action for the Championship.

Event 2 is running out the clock for registration and the second tournament on the schedule is another success. There are 95 entries in the evening session to easily top the $10,000 Guarantee and they are pushing it closer to $11,000. Not a bad way to spend a Friday evening.

Registration closed on the opening event of the East Coast Bar Poker Open series and the second tournament is set to go. For those who fell short in Event 1 or those getting into town too late to play it, we have a $130+$20 Deepstack tournament kicking off at 6pm. Event 2 has a healthy $10,000 guaranteed prize pool with 25,000 deep stacks and 20-minute levels from start to finish.
Registration will remain open until the start of Level 9 around 9:15pm and unlimited re-entries are available during that time. They’ll continue to play into the late hours with someone walking away with a Bar Poker Open trophy.
