While the Bar Poker Open National Championship was playing down on the stage, Event 9 was taking place in the back of the Signature Room. The tournament drew 103 entries with 1 in 10 taking splitting up the  $10,491 prize pool.

It didn’t take long for the lucky eleven players to succeed and when they did everyone in the room knew it. As soon as it was over the top eleven players let out a loud cheer, high-fiving each other on their successful days work.

Here’s a look at how they placed:

1st: Benjamin Zanghi – $1,000
2nd: Brian Wohnig – $1,000
3rd: Carole Barrett – $1,000
4th: Yitzchok Goldstein – $1,000

We have a fun little tournament set for the penultimate event of the Bar Poker Open schedule. Event 9 is a $105+$20 Survivor event kicking off at 2pm with a good chance for players to pad their bankroll.

Each entry will start with 15,000 stacks and will grind through 20-minute levels from start to finish.
