G Dull
KOntenders

John Beady opened his button to 1,200,000 and G Dull moved all in from the small blind for 2,150,000. Manny Avila mucked his big blind and Beady called trying to get the Championship to heads-up play.

Dull:
Beady:

Beady was ahead but Dull hit the flop to take the lead. He had a lot of outs to dodge with the flush draw and aces left in the deck and the turn changed nothing. The KOntenders crowd was on its feet cheering for a good river but the was only good for Beady. Dull had an energetic rail but they will have to settle with third place for their guy.

In the blink of an eye, three players went out on the heels of Steve Vozza to set the final table. Troy Velez and Margie Dailey both hit the exit in a double knock out and Vince Buffone, our last Canadian standing, could not come back after a misstep against G Dull. He followed that up by losing sevens into Robert Oswald’s queens and he dropped out in 11th place to set up the final table.

Bags were pulled out and there was a final table redraw with ten players remaining. Players have a few hours off and will return to play the ten-handed final table in front of the live-stream cameras at 6pm.

Bill Schuch
Riverchasers

Bill Schuch is our next player to go on a hot streak and the Riverchasers player is our new leader by a nice margin. He was already up top when he opened to 50,000 from early position and the button player moved all in for 298,000. Schuch thought about it for a moment, counted out the chips, and tossed in a call.

Schuch:
Button:

Schuch was in tough shape but it would not be a huge hit to his stack. But it went the other way on the flop to move him into the lead. Neither the turn nor the river changed anything and Schuch moved further into the lead with 2,860,000.

Ron Licari is still in good shape with 2,100,000 followed by Manny Avila with 1,850,000
