Jesse Gutierrez Wins the Bar Poker Open Championship ($23,350)

The Bar Poker Open Championship drew a total 684 entries creating a prize pool of over $100,000. The players traveled to The Borgata from all around the country and there was certainly no shortage of action.

There were 72 players that returned on Day 2 and when the dust settled Jesse Gutierrez from Kontenders Poker in Austin Texas was the last man standing.

Guitierrez came into the final table in the middle of the pack but stayed patient picking his spots throughout on his way to victory.

Guitierrez takes home his largest career tournament score of $23,350 and the coveted Bar Poker Open Championship trophy. Below is a full look at all the final table results.

Jordan Fishman (Eastern Poker Tour)

Jesse Gutierrez raised to 1,200,000 and Jordan Fishman moved all in for his last 3,600,000. Gutierrez snap called turning over and was dominating the of Fishman.

The dealer spread the flop and Gutierrez let out a fist pump as he improved to top set. Fishman picked up a gutshot straight draw when the hit the turn but the river card sealed the deal for Gutierrez.

Fishman is our Bar Poker Open Championship runner up and will take home $13,598 for his second place finish.

Tommy Genova limped in from the small blind and Jesse Gutierrez checked from the big. They went heads up to the flop and Genova fired out a bet of 400,000. Gutierrez called and the dealer burned and turned the .

Genova checked again and Gutierrez tossed out a bet of 500,000. Genova check-raised all in for 1,300,000 and Gutierrez snap called. Genova showed for top pair but Gutierrez tabled for trip fours.

The hit the river and the players shook hands as Genova was sent to the rail in 5th place earing $5,536 for his efforts.
